Beauty Buys: October

Recently, I felt like I was in a bit of a beauty rut. I wanted to shake things up without spending a lot of money on skincare products. At my local CVS, I found 3 products that I love and plan on making regular part of my routine.

  1. Neutrogena Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub
  2. Biore Self Heating One Minute Mask
  3. Olay Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF 15

I still get occasional hormonal acne. Since it is so inconsistent, I never know what to apply when a pimple pops up. I tried Neutrogena Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub this month, and it worked wonders. I washed my face with the scrub in the evening, and the next morning  my pesky pimple was much less noticeable, and my skin felt great. I also really like the smell of this scrub.

I have wanted to try the Biore Self Heating One Minute Mask for a while. One minute and done sounded great… but I didn’t know if I should believe the hype around this mask. After one use, I was seriously hooked. Not only  does this mask feel great but I saw immediate results. I love it so much, I plan to pack and brings this mask on our upcoming trip to Europe.

One of my good friends has amazing skin. Of course, I had to ask what products she uses. She shared that this Olay Moisturizer is the one product she has used for years. I have been using this moisturizer every morning for a week and it feels great! I definitely plan to keep this in my routine and see if I notice a change in the next few months.
