My big splurge of the month. For years, I had read great things about this miracle treatment for lips and cuticles, and I decided to pull the trigger before our honeymoon. I knew I would need major hydration after 11+ hours of travel each way, and used it as an excuse to make the purchase. Well, now I am in trouble, because I can’t say enough good things about this product. It is beyond nourishing, it smells unbelievable, and keeps my lips hydrated for hours.
2. L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate
When I returned from Rome, Florence, and Paris (where temperatures stayed in the mid-40s), my skin was unbelievably dry. Since I am a true California girl, my skin had never experienced anything like this. Enter: L’Occitane. My best friend is obsessed with the brand so we went to the store in Santa Monica, where I discovered the best lotion I have ever used!
The L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate not only restored my dry / itchy skin back to life but the smell is truly heavenly! I seriously cannot. stop. smelling. my. skin. I am in love! I also purchased the accompanying scrub, and I’ve never felt better! I know that I am going to use this product for many years to come.
3. Bare Minerals Original Foundation SPF 15
I rediscovered Bare Minerals Original Foundation with SPF 15 last month. I wanted something natural that provided light coverage, but didn’t feel heavy or like I was wearing much makeup. I found myself at the Bare Minerals store at the mall, and purchased this foundation. Not only does it provide the perfect coverage for my skin and is great for daily use, but I actually feel like it makes my skin better… even after I take it off! I used the brand religiously years ago, and I am so excited that I decided to take the plunge and repurchase.
4. Lush BB Seaweed Mask
Since I have been on a hydration kick this month, I wanted to add a hydrating and natural face mask to my routine. I have been a fan of Lush masks for years, and was excited to try something new. The Lush BB Seaweed Mask is created for sensitive skin and is incredibly hydrating. It left my skin smooth with a gorgeous glow! I definitely plan to repurchase this mask as soon as I finish it.
5. CoverGirl Intensify Me! Liquid Liner
This eyeliner is my most recent drugstore purchase discovery! I was searching for a liquid liner to help me create an epic cat eye for Halloween. The thing is, I am terrible with liquid liner and needed to find one that was super user friendly. This CoverGirl eyeliner is seriously perfect. It is easy to use and glides on. Post-Halloween, I have found myself using this when I want something a little more dramatic than my daily look. Love this eyeliner!
